THE CHRISTMAS ART SALE EVENT

Cochrane Arts Central big Christmas Event is only 2 days away! We are busy stocking, organizing, and hanging paintings!

All items are on sale with a 20% discount! Now is the time to stock up for all your Christmas projects. From canvas to paper to paint to brushes and many specialty items to create your perfect painting or gift - we will have it!

The sale is November 11, noon - 4pm; November 12, 10am- 5pm and November 13, noon - 4pm. There are product demos and technique demos on Saturday. We are happy to have Jason from Golden to demo acrylic and mediums. He is the expert on this product and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

As well, Paulette Fleming from Mary Kay Cosmetics will have products for you to try and will have a draw.

Cochrane Arts Central will have a draw for a $100.00 gift certificate to be used for products of your choice. You will want to get your name in for sure! The winter class schedule will be outlined as well - be sure and ask for your copy and we will be happy to sign you up. There are several classes to choose from. Classes make great Christmas gifts. We have a wonderful line of fine jewellery which we are very happy to offer to you -- as well as wonderful art created by local artists ! Of course -- there is food and refreshments for everyone to enjoy. Try our own art blend of coffee roasted by Cochrane Coffee Traders (if you love it -- we also sell the beans!)

The Christmas Art Event- November 11/12/13

Be Inspired............ at Cochrane Arts Central Christmas event taking place on November 11, 12 and 13th. Come and stop by the store to view our gallery, take in a live product demo, check out our amazing selection of art supplies and jewellery. Upcoming Children's Holiday Class Saturday December 10th

Cochrane Arts Central is excited to announce an upcoming Children's Holiday Class taking place in our studio on Saturday December 10th from 10am-4pm. Discover the fine art of printmaking on your own wrapping paper and the unique art of candlemaking, soapmaking, jewellery and ornament making -- wrap it up ready to place under the tree. Open to ages 7 - 12. The price is $60.00 which includes supplies. Please ensure that a water bottle and lunch is brought to the class.

FESTIVAL SALE OCTOBER 1

Hello Everyone - October 1st is Alberta Arts Day and to celebrate the arts, Cochrane is having a festival on the streets. In honor of this occasion, Cochrane Arts Central is offering 20% discount on all products! Come see all the new stuff -- Golden liquid acrylics are in and so are the FW Inks! As well, we are stocked up with everything else too. Come and be a part of the Festival. Coffee is always on!

AUTUMN IS HERE ALREADY

Hello Everyone - Classes are filling up quickly! There are a few spots left in some classes. If you would like to try watercolor, there are some spots left in both classes. Beginner Oil class with Claire Miles has spots left too. Claire has lots of patience and years of experience in painting and teaching. Students will not feel intimidated at all. Also the children and youth classes have room. You can find the schedule on the Class section of this website! Please call with any inquiries or registrations. We will be happy to help you out.

We have changed the grand opening from Sept 17 and 18 to November 11, 12, and 13. Because of construction on town streets this fall, we thought it better to have it later. That way there will be lots of parking! There will be demos, art displays, products to try out as well as discounts for everyone. There will be more information later. It will be posted in the website as well as the local papers. Stay tuned!!

Hello Everyone - The Autumn Class Schedule is now available! Please check on the Class page for details.

The Grand Opening for Cochrane Arts Central is September 17 and 18. There will be specials, demos, and Artists painting in the Studio. Also the Gallery will feature work of local artists. I will have more details in a few weeks.

Everyone -- come in and see what is new and upcoming as far as supplies and register for a class!

NEW ART SUPPLY STORE IN COCHRANE!

Hello everyone - Cochrane Arts Central has been open now for a few weeks! It has been wonderful visiting with familiar clients and friends as well as new clients finding us. Now that we have the blog to keep you informed, I will strive to update it every week or so. There will be classes, starting up in September. But, I am teaching in the summer as well. If you or a group of you would like lessons this summer, please give us a call and we can set it up.

I am happy to offer Birthday Parties! Your child and a group of her/his friends (8 maximum) can come in for a painting session and you can bring in a cake and refreshments and we will be happy to help serve it. Details can be made specifically for each group. Call for information.

The Art Gallery part of Cochrane Arts Central is coming along. Please drop in and see the progress. Don't forget -- there is a Coffee Corner for you to enjoy. Come in and relax with a cup of "Arts Central" brew blended by Coffee Traders. While you are here you can browse through artist magazines or just have a good visit with other art types!

Drop in any time - we are constantly getting in new product, paintings and just filling up -- so by the Grand Opening in September everything will be as I had envisioned!
